- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on forecasting
- Proven expertise in various forecasting techniques and models (e.g., ARIMA/SARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, Prophet, Time Series Neural Networks (LSTM, GRU), XGBoost, LightGBM).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and/or R.
- Forecasting Model Development and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement predictive forecasting models (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, Neural Networks, Gradient Boosting)
- Model Validation and Optimization: Conduct rigorous model validation, backtesting, and stress testing to ensure model accuracy, stability, and reliability.
- Data Analysis and Exploration: Conduct extensive data analysis, outlier identification, and feature engineering to prepare relevant data for modeling. Identify underlying patterns and trends in the data.
